June Twentythree

This is another friendly neighbourhood cat.
She's super friendly and jumps around wanting a pat.
We've never seen her with a collar, so we just call her Fluff.

June Seventeen

So I've just started watching Sex and the City, season one. It's good.
It makes way more sense than what I've seen of the later seasons.
It's funny, young and refreshingly 90s.

June Thirteen

Last night I might have accidentally watched all of Confessions of a Shopaholic. It was super girly and cheesy, but I liked it. Although there were some scenes which made me feel guilty about my own shopping habits, I kept watching because OMFG the clothes were killer. It's like a rainbow exploded. with Marc Jacobs. I immediately googled to find out the Costume designer is Patricia Field. It all makes sense now! I only saw a little bit of Sex and the City, but now I feel I should go back and start again, if only for the fashion.

June Twelve

This Saturday's op shop haul.
"Stock Market Game", unused, 1960s and made in NZ. It's set out similar to Monopoly. so I can only assume it will take HOURS to finish and involve a little fighting. Shares in Radio Hauraki, yes please! And a navy blue velour long sleeve dress. Currently in the wash just to make sure it's clean. I think it will end up on high rotate in my wardrobe.

I love weekend op shopping!

June Five

This is Cassius. She's not our cat, but comes around almost everyday to say hi. She has the strangest meow I think I've ever heard. Mostly, she just wanders around meowing, like she's playing Marco Polo, with an imaginary cat friend.

June Four

A few weeks ago we stopped by a book fair. I came away with the whole lot for $4! Four cookbooks, one Yates Garden Guide, PASSWORD the famous word association game and a colourful book of cocktails.
I'll need to read up on how to play Password and try it out next games night, with cocktails!
