July Sixteen
These beauties arrived today. I bought them off Trademe for $35, never worn, with the original box and shoe bag. A steal if you ask me. They are Melissa Royale. The black on the back is a heart. Oh so cute!

July Fourteen
I'm still obsessed with crazy homemade beauty treatments. Today is day two of going shampoo free (no-poo). I used the baking soda shampoo and a apple cider vingear conditioner on Tuesday morning, haven't washed it since then. It's feeling alright. Perhaps a little bit greasey, but I think I've convinced myself that it's a nice natural good for your hair kinda grease. Tonight I will wash it again .
I also tried olive oil as a moisturiser. I read somewhere that you can used it for everything. Everything being a cleasner and a moisturiser. It sounds good, but what got me when someone else said that their Grandmother used it. Apparently she would drizzle a little of olive oil on her hands and then rub it into her face and arms. Cheap? Easy? Grandmother approved? Done deal. And it works! I used about a teaspoon and rubbed it into my face and arms. It doesn't smell, in fact Nick said it smelled nice (I think that translates as 'no detectable smell'). It's not greasy and it moisturised better than my current moisturisers!

July Eleven
I'm currently obsessed with homemade beauty products. This week I'll hopefully start the process of giving up chemical shampoo and conditioner in favour of baking soda and apple cider vinegar.
I just love this recipe for a lemon body scrub from my favourite new site the beauty department.
Lemon Salt Scrub
5 tablespoons sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon
Mix salt and oil together
Squeeze the lemon over the salt
Mix then scrub
YUM

July Ten
I ordered a new coat for ASOS!
I love the shape of a swing coat and although I already have two,
$36 NZD for a winter coat was too good an offer to pass up.
It'll be the only the second coat I've bought new for myself.
The first one was a little bit too big and I traded it with my sister for a
brown vintage coat she didn't really like.
I'm looking foward to wearing it with everything!
For as long as this cold snap lasts.
